Its me!! Here to finally post a semi decent blogpost.
For the past 2 days, I’ve been attending a Service Excellence course at Jurong East as you should already know.
Just yesterday, we were brought back to our childhood days with LEGO!
Roger told us to work in teams and build a model of how we would like our ideal office to be.
I teamed up with Huiyu & Bixia and we started to work on our empire!
Special features we added into our design:
-2 mega large windows on both sides of the office, preferably an office by the beach
-4 office desks situated at all 4 corners of the office(technically so we do not disturb one another)
-a lounge at the middle of the office with coffee machines, a tea brewing machine(very important for me) and beds to rest
-a pebbled path(those u go ‘’ouch ouch’’ when walking but good for blood circulation) leading to a swimming pool to keep fit
-a beautifully maintained grass patch meant for picnics etc.
(Huiyu said its therapeutic for her when she steps on grass barefooted. I guess now we know why the grass patch outside her house looks so terrible =P)
-and most importantly, our initials at the top of the office, A(for Anna) H(for Huiyu) B(for Bixia)! Our empire!
Lol.
Note that our design mainly revolves around slacking instead of working haha. Typical of us =P
Me looking very proud with my lego watermelon! Please pardon the eyebags=(
3 out of the 4 teams included a swimming pool in their designs.
Roger then asked us a very serious question, ‘’so who would like to send their proposed design to the bosses?”
IMMEDIATE SILENCE. Hahaha.
We heard the 3 bosses would be in for our last lesson next Thursday though.
For our presentation etc. They are trying to tempt us into working our brains a little harder with a cash prize for the best idea.
Will have to travel to Jurong East next Wed and Thurs for our last 2 lessons!
Roger is such an interesting trainer he has successfully neutralised the dreaded travelling time.
Anyways, today, I went to our office food court for lunch because I heard from Jiawei that his Dad opened a new stall there after the food court’s major revamp.
Seriously, his Dad’s wanton mee KICKS ASS, and can easily beat my favourite Tembeling’s!
I am so going back there again. =)
I have a few other events to blog about actually, but probably shall not.
Then again, I am finally getting my first spa sponsorship whoopee!!
Something I’ve been looking forward to for quite some time.
