Spent my Mega 21st at Genting Highlands last Friday to Sunday with Dear and his parents.
Checked in at First World Hotel.
We ended up changing hotel rooms twice as the first one was facing a very disgusting black wall and the second was right beside a construction site *faints*
After we settled into our room, we started boiling water to disinfect the room.
The halloween decorations were really creepy.
i decided NOT to go for the haunted house tour.
On Saturday, my BIRTHDAY!!
Went to the outdoor theme park with deardear. so so fun!!
HELLO HELLO..
Next we proceeded to Dinosaurland!!
We took this boat ride at Dinosaurland, very slow moving ride.
they brought us to this dark tunnel, hidden with dinosaur models and all sorts of sound effect.
Pretty boring.
it was on a mountain. so a pretty scenic place for pictures!
We got balloons from 2 clowns! who also played a prank on me =(
Went for dinner at Ah Yat resutaurant (mad love the Szechuan sour and spicy soup)
Then we went to Ripley's Believe it or not.
The place is so huge! filled with all sorts of interesting and creepy exhibits.
The most amazing one would be this guy who could stay in an oven heated up to a temp of up to 350 degree celcius holding a plate of raw chicken.
The chicken would be cooked but he would emerge unscathed.
scary!!
That is a really huge chair
Decided to go for the indoor gondola road before going back to the room to rest for the night.
Sunday was a very emotional day for me, for we were gonna leave Genting =(
Went for caricature with dear for a memory of the place.
It wasn't very well drawn in my opinion. he made dear look really old in the picture. this caricature cost us 50 ringgit.
not very cheap.
Went for breakfast at
then it was time to board the bus home.
i miss Genting like mad now. many thanks to dardar and his parents for the trip and the many presents!
but i have a trip to Australia in December to look forward to now ^^
oh yes, the customer service at Genting is really mad lousy too.
Shall share my loots from Genting in the next post!
